Greenpill NYC’s primary focus is educating the greater New York City community about the value of onchain public goods mechanisms. We host monthly meetups and are in the process of scheduling an intermittent digital call as well.
The Greenpill NYC Chapter Charmverse page is still a work in progress but you can find our important links in there.
Greenpill NYC put a lot energy into onboarding community members and projects to Public Goods Network, but since the subsequent shut down that energy will be diverted towards Grow Network.
Our vision is to use QF to fund local public goods and we are trying to coordinate more to explore other ideas like a trash cleanup.
Hyperlocal Quadratic Funding Project
Right now a lot of our focus is on setting up a NYC QF project with a matching pool sustainably funded with Obol Squad-Staking/DVT. If anybody has any thoughts on that idea or onboarding non-profits please be in touch.
Recently setup a Miro board with notes from the last couple meetups that focused on this project.
