GreenpillKenya Narrowed to a scope of three projects that will be main focus 2025 and beyond
- Construction and setup of Regen Tourist Hub/ Builder residency and co-working regen spaces.
- Organic fertilizer production a mixture of composting and biochar.
- Regenerative farming and planting trees with our ready made organic fertilizer.
1.Updates on the Regen Tourist Hub/ Residency and Co-working spaces
Our motivation came from the idea of having a Networking IRL space for hosting workshops, trainings and seminars not only for regeneration but onboarding more folks to the web3 ecosystem. TBH creating such a space comes with its own challenges but we upto to the task according to trends Kenya is becoming a hot spot for web3 global protocols and ecosystems from leaders such as vitalik, jesse polak etc paying a visit to the Country and Ecosystems such as Celo, Base, Avalanche, cardano etc not only setting base but also having incubation hubs in the country. We are not only building a Regen hub but a one stop IRL space for all this ecosystem to leverage. With a huge thanks to QF Grants we have received through Gitcoin from community rounds sponsored by partners such as Greenpill.network, Octant, CeloRPGF, Arbitrum, Climate coordination network, and Unlock protocol we are more than grateful to what we have accomplished todate its not a destination but a journey!
Not only a public good but a source of revenue for the chapter activities long term goal.

2. Organic fertilizer production a mixture of composting and Biochar
Q3 and 4 were barely for experimenting first batch of 2 Tonnes was a success second batch of 7 Tonnes had its own challenge especially due to heavy rains that swept most of the product we resulted to build a composting shade that is producing wonders
Q1 and Q2 its all about scaling, training and promoting the product
3. Regenerative farming,planting trees and GreenpillKenya community
Our Regen farm is producing organic foodstuff thanks to organic fertilizer produced inhouse. in GG20 we received a grant from DeSci round where we are experimenting on fermentation i.e kimchi and sauerkraut we will be publishing journals and articles on the process
Planting trees towards climate change is one part of the equation but unless you water it, or plant using Biochar organic compost that retains moisture in the soil and make it survive you haven’t done anything towards climate change true testament to 4months trees we planted in our Regen Hub.
Community
Collaboration with DAOs such as PizzaDAO, safariDAO, Gardens V2 and local events such as ETHsafari we are Greenpilling and growing our community day by day we also hosted 2 IRl events at the Hub which was a major milestone more to come…
