  1. Network Treasury

Really like the idea of the Network supporting grant rounds, especially community rounds organized by groups like the DeSci Gitcoin Working Group, CCN, Regen Coordination, etc. Sustainable treasury management is tough especially since we don’t really know exactly what kind of capital formation will occur moving forward but there is a scale where this works especially if we focus on Greenpillers who are grant round organizers.

  1. Crowdfunding from Greenpill community (Individuals and Chapters/Guilds) - Into Pods or into the DeSci working group directly

Not sure how effective we could crowdfund but down to give it a shot. Again, doing so to support an entire grant round definitely makes this a lot cleaner. Pairing this with a lump sum (or some kind of match?) from the Network treasury feels like the most viable path.

  1. Funding Pods to allocate capital - Potentially measure contributions and use something like Realms or some other points based system for a reputation layer on top of whatever governance structure emerges.

I’d love to see Pods grow and eventually establish their own governance structure and manage treasuries but don’t think we should complicate things like that for a while.

I am in favor of trying a mixture of point 1 and 2. The Network treasury really needs some attention in regards to diversification and stablecoin yield, and we also need to make a push with capital formation experimentation. Sustainability is top of mind but think we need to put our foot on the gas a bit more with allocation and create some sort of positive flywheel that will in turn make it easier to raise more funds. But really do love the idea of supporting community rounds and feel pretty strongly that this is something we should explore.

Thanks for putting this together @SwiftEvo
